Coming March 8th - Lean Startup Vancouver presents Can We Be Lean In All Stages?

Lean Startup Vancouver is hosting an event on March 8th, 2012 at 6pm.

We have an impressive array of guest speakers to engage us with an interesting insight into staying Lean whether you are a serial entrepreneur, successful organizer, or a leading voice of Lean in a large corporation.

Speakers:

Jesse Heaslip (Intro-Up) | @jonovision

Jesse will share his real world experience using the MVP process to build Intro-Up, a useful app that is like Rapportive for Meetups. Jesse will discuss how to collect feedback, conduct usability studies and hack interfaces on the way to building an awesome product that people use.

Melissa Ness (Vision Critical)

Melissa is an interaction designer and user experience specialist specializing in solving complex business problems in the least intrusive and most beneficial way possible. Melissa will share her Lean UX experience.

Allen Pike (Steam Clock Software) | @apike

Allen is a Founder of Steam Clock Software, where he builds products for iOS and the web. He has worked at Apple, taught at SFU, and founded VanJS. Allen will share his experience of starting technical meetups and what makes them succeed.

Lawell Kiing (SAP)

Lawell will discuss some of the experiences he had in the various organizations and attempt to correlate LEAN and innovation and discuss some factors and examples of what worked and what didn’t, from an organization level down to the team and individual level.
